Popular Nigerian musician and, Yemi Alade has recently hit out at a top government official in Nigeria over the state of the economy.
Using her Twitter handle to express her mind on the state of the economy she calls out government officials to do the needful if they feel they cannot rule well. She also pointed out that they should give way for others instead of complaining.
She described all politicians as birds of the same feather, lamenting the lack of infrastructures, good roads, and electricity in Nigeria caused by the nonchalant attitude of the Nigerian politicians.
Her tweet reads: “Top Nigerian government officials saying that Nigeria is a hopeless country. Please, why do you campaign for Office? Give way to those who still have hope in a better Nigeria.
“Politicians are all the same, what would it cost to have good roads, good education, good drinking water, and stable electricity?
“You can’t be in POWER forever don’t forget, neither can you carry all the money to your grave.”
