Asari Dokubo, a former militant leader, has said that the dual of Rotimi Amaechi the transport minister and Bola Tinubu the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would regret working for President Muhammadu Buhari.
Dokubo said that those who are in power would go after them in the long run.
The ex-militant leader was reacting to leaked audio where Amaechi was heard criticising Buhari.
In a video posted on tweeter, Dokubo said: “Amaechi you’re my brother, these people don’t forgive. They will wait till after the election. You and Tinubu are the first people they will deal with.
“It is better for you (Amaechi) to leave now than to wait till the end because when you will cry, the people who are now denying the audio will laugh at you.
“I know them, I know these people in government in and out. Amaechi, I am warning you, I beg you in the name of God, leave now.
“When they come after you, Saraki’s own ordeal of being an ‘armed robber’ – a former governor, presidential adviser, a senator – will be nonsense. Dino Melaye’s own ordeal will be child’s play.
“You have said the truth, I know you said it, you said it, that recording is you, nobody else. Let nobody deny it. So, you better leave now that you still have time. You yourself know how they hate you in the presidency.
“I beg you for your safety, you’re my brother…if anything happens to you, I will stand up, the way I stood for Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria’s former president.”
