A civil society organization, The Save Nigeria Network (SNN), has
Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko called his cabinet to an emergency meeting after the country’s navy was hit by a strike from Russia.
Russia’s Security Service (FSB) said the reason for their action was that the Ukrainian ship illegally entered its waters and when they were told to stop, they ignored the warning and that lead to them sizing three of its vessels. The hit from Russia injured the sailors onboard.
In reporting the incident, the Ukrainian foreign ministry through his spoke person said: “Today’s dangerous events in the Azov Sea testify that a new front of Russian aggression is open.”
“Ukraine is calling now for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council.”
But the Federal Security Service of Russia claimed that they have “irrefutable evidence that Kiev prepared and orchestrated provocations… in the Black Sea”.
They added: “These materials will soon be made public.”
Before this incident, Ukraine has accused Russia of damaging one of its boats which was posted on tweeter by its foreign minister.
МВС України спецзасобами отримало доступ до відео провокації -тарана російського прикордонного корабля "Дон" українського🇺🇦 судна. Перехоплене відео знято російськими, чутні команди – це піде доказом в міжнародний суд!

The Ukrainian navy said before the three vessels entered the Russian waters, they informed them in advance but were surprised to see the aggression of the Russian navy.
However, the European Union has told the two countries involved to settle their differences amicable so as to avoid any war. Russia was also told to open the way for Ukrainian ship to pass freely through the black sea so as to get good access to their port.
