If the scorching heat of the Sun is freaking you out, it would be good for you to travel to the City of Utqiagvik which is situated in Alaska USA.
Looking at the picture above shows that the city is at night and that is how the city may look like in the next 65 days, as a polar night. This is because the city is situated 320 miles (515km) north of the Arctic Circle.
The last time the resident of the city saw Sunlight was on the 18th of November 2018 and they would not expect to see the Sunlight until around January 23rd 2018.
That is not the only city that experiences the loss of Sunlight for days but it has the highest so far. Other Cities like, Atqasuk, Point Hope and Kaktovik will soon say goodbye to the Sun.
The temperature of this cities will be going to minus 30C (minus 22F) over this period. And cloud would cover the cities well enough so as to prevent Sunlight.
