Femi Kuti Tell Osinbanjo on stage I will not support Buhari because of my Father

Femi Kuti Tell Osinbanjo on stage I will not support Buhari because of my Father

Femi Kuti got a surprise visit at the Afrikan Shrine from the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbanjo and he gave the Vice President a surprising answer to a request.

Fela shrine is always recognized as the home of fun and entertainment especially to celebrate music  and the legendary music icon Fela Anikulapo Kuti (Felaberation)

Felaberation 2018 came with top music act performance like that of Pasuma a Yoruba styled musician thrilled the crowd with his sublime Yoruba music performance drawing attention to himself. Also, Mavins super boy Reekardo Bank pleased the crowd with his hit song (Oluwa ni). Bottom belle crowner Omawumi also gave an account of herself.

The shrine had been a home for many musicians but inside and also the country. Many recognized musician get to express the fact that the shrine is a nice place for musical activities like Seal whose original name is Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel is one of the biggest singers of Nigerian descent. Paid an unexpected visit to the shrine as he relates that it was a good inhabitant of music development

Felaberation 2018 was really merriment as Davido and his crew drew attention to themselves by their hit songs which move the crowd crazy. As expected, the last anniversary the Afrikan Shrine witnessed a large turnout of fans, regular visitors, foreigners, and first-timers on the first day of the festival.

But however an unexpected artist came in which was the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbanjo not to sing but was with the prospect of seeking support from Kuti in the 2019 presidential election, he got a response that sent shockwaves to the crowd

 He said:

“Vice President Osinbajo came to me, to my house for support, he’s standing here and I am saying this here, but I told him I can’t support because of my father and he understands but he’s my friend, so he understands,”.

“He said he wanted to come to the shrine to see what everybody is saying about Shrine and I am happy that he came and saw that we are not crazy here. He said he didn’t know this place was this big.”

You will recall that Buhari jailed Fela for five years during his tenor as military head of state. That is what his son would not forget that sad memory as he could not hold it by saying it aloud to the crowd in Felabration.

This has drawn reactions from many Nigerians so far on social media
