In some hours’ time Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola would be called ex-governor as his tenure will end today and he would be replaced by this party man Gboyega Oyetola who was declared the winner of the Osun Guber election.
Aregbesola is now thinking of going back to become a better husband to his wife as he said he did not enjoy his wife and he also took time to thank his wife for her patience and understanding during the eight years he served as Governor.
Aregbesola is known for is hard work and diligent effort it trying to help the state grow in terms of infrastructure.
Aregbesola first term in office came as a result of a court order to Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola to vacate office as Governor after he spent three and half years in his second term in office on November 27, 2010.
Aregbesola said: “I want to go and rest. I have been an absentee husband for long enough. I now want to stay with my wife and enjoy each other.
“We are happy we have someone like Gboyega Oyetola succeeding this administration because he knows everything we did and will surely continue where we stop.
“So, there is hope for this state.
“All praises go to God for not allowing those who wanted to use a trick to get to power without vision and who will destroy our legacies and reverse the direction and the development of the state. Every file before getting to me must pass through Oyetola. So, he is set for the job.”
